TennisTCA Tennis Programs and EventsTCA has 13 outdoor courts including 8 courts with lights. Our tennis courts are available to our members day and night throughout the year. One of the biggest challenges of any tennis club is the retention of teaching staff. The industry average for a Head Pro at a club is 1.5 years. TCA is very fortunate in retaining an excellent, tenured staff, lead by Head Pro David Ochotorena (Ocho) since 1982. One of the secrets to TCA’s success is the positive feeling TCA members have towards tennis. Building on that feeling, Ocho designs programs that maximize a player's full potential. For children, Ocho and his staff offer an intense, competitive year-round program for dedicated players who wish to play at the tournament level. If it is just brushing up on your strokes that you are interested in, Ocho and his assistants offer private lessons 7 days a week, year round, as well as group clinics. Whatever your tennis need, the staff at TCA is always willing to work with you to improve your game and make certain that you are having a good time. TCA is very active in USTA events, including USA League, and there is always an inter-club tennis program going on at TCA. Most of our inter-club tennis programs and events are run by the Director of Tennis and his staff. Just sign in at the entrance and play! If you wish to use an indoor court, there is a fee. So, remember, this weekend you can trek over to the Lobo Club and use their courts while our tournament is going on. |
