The Most Important Tennis Tournament of the Year!

The 2025 Nusenda Duke City Open is a USTA Sanctioned L4 (regional level) tournament which premiered in 2024. Over the last decade, the Duke City Open at TCA has consistently been one of the 3 largest annual adult tournaments in the state of New Mexico. This year, we are expecting it to be the largest by a good margin. We are hoping to clear 200 tournament entrants, cycling hundreds of players and spectators through both the Tennis Club of Albuquerque and Jerry Cline Tennis Center (our satellite facility) each day that the tournament runs.

The Duke City Open is one of the most highly regarded tournaments in the USTA’s southwest section. Players consistently give us positive feedback, citing the fun, social tournament environment, the welcoming vibe of our TCA community, and the management of the tournament itself (including scheduling, draws, and tournament staff).

The Duke City Open brings a majority share of the Albuquerque and greater New Mexico tennis communities together for a single event, fostering a spirit of community through athletic competition and inclusion. This tournament lifts awareness of New Mexico tennis and helps us continue to make progress towards one of our most important goals: expanding the growth of tennis in our local community.
